The needs of our customers are rapidly evolving. We are geared to meet these needs with a high-quality fleet of modern, fuel-efficient bulk carriers.
We maintain a balance of owned, chartered and commercially managed tonnage within the Clipper Bulk fleet. With many vessels of identical or similar specifications, we operate much of the fleet in pools. Whether in a pool or otherwise, all vessels are operated with the same attention to efficiency and safety from load port to discharge.
We have been trading our Handysize and Supramax core segments for decades and have gradually expanded into Ultramax and larger Handysize vessels. We now focus on 28,000- 32,000 dwt and 34,000-38,000 dwt Handysize vessels as well as 50,000-64,000 Supramax/Ultramax vessels.
End-November 2020, we operated 75 dry cargo vessels including owned and part-owned vessels, vessels chartered for minimum five months as well as vessels operated by Clipper-managed pools.
In addition, we operate a varying number of vessels chartered for single trips.
