CLIPPER AMERICAS OPENS DOORS TO BRAND NEW OFFICE SPACE

Last week, Clipper Americas celebrated the opening of its brand-new office space on Town & Country Boulevard in Houston. The occasion had a great turn-out, bringing together a crowd of 185 business partners, Clipper colleagues, and friends from the industry. Shipping professionals from near and far got a chance to meet and relax while enjoying North and South American delicacies, music and drinks.  

Clipper is no stranger to Houston. The company opened its first office here in 1981 and has been an active member of the local shipping community ever since. The decision to centralize our Americas presence in Houston was announced exactly 1 year prior to the reception, back in October of 2017. The purpose was to create stronger consolidated teams in the ever faster-moving dry bulk industry, and Houston was chosen as the best base for serving the entire region; North, South and Central America including the Caribbean Basin.

Within a year, Clipper Americas’ staff has doubled in size and we have truly experienced the benefits of more effective communication and a shorter response time to market changes and our clients’ needs. We look forward to further strengthening Clipper Americas’ business and relations in this ever expanding metropolis with one of world’s largest ports.
