Together with close partners, Clipper has yesterday acquired an additional handy size bulk vessel, RODINA. The vessel is a sister vessel to the two recent acquisitions, CLIPPER COPENHAGEN and CLIPPER HOUSTON. The new vessel will be named CLIPPER HONG KONG after Clipper’s third main office.

The three vessels will all join the newly established pool, the Emerald Pool, a pool dedicated to larger handysize vessels.

The introduction of the Emerald Pool brings the number of pools managed by Clipper Bulk up to three. The two other pools are the Clipper Handy Pool dedicated to smaller handysize vessels, and the Clipper Bulkhandling Pool focusing on ultramax and supramax vessels.
